چکیده
This paper presents a novel approach to provide immersive free navigation with 6 Degrees of Freedom in real-time for natural and virtual scenery, both static dynamic content. Stemming from the state-of-the-art Depth Image-Based Rendering OpenGL pipeline, this new View Synthesis method achieves at up 90 FPS can take any number input views their corresponding depth maps as priors. Video content be played thanks GPU decompression, supporting full parallax real-time. To render viewpoint, each selected view is warped using camera pose associated map, an implicit 3D representation. The are then blended all together generate chosen view. Various blending approaches specifically designed avoid visual artifacts compared. Using few four appears optimal trade-off between computation time quality, allowing synthesize high-quality stereoscopic real-time, offering genuine reality experience. Additionally, proposed provides rendering scenery on holographic light field displays. Our results comparable - objectively subjectively state art synthesis tools NeRF LLFF, while maintaining overall lower complexity rendering.

Real-time Content Adaptive Depth Retargeting for Light Field Displays
Light field display systems present visual scenes using a set of directional light beams emitted from multiple light sources as if they are emitted from points in a physical scene. These displays offer better angular resolution and therefore provide more depth of field than other automultiscopic displays. However in some cases the size of a scene may still exceed the available depth range of a ...
متن کاملReal-time Depth of Field Rendering via Dynamic Light Field Generation and Filtering
We present a new algorithm for efficient rendering of high-quality depth-of-field (DoF) effects. We start with a single rasterized view (reference view) of the scene, and sample the light field by warping the reference view to nearby views. We implement the algorithm using NVIDIA’s CUDA to achieve parallel processing, and exploit the atomic operations to resolve visibility when multiple pixels ...
متن کاملDepth of field in light field rendering
This paper focuses on the sampling problem in light field rendering (LFR) that is a fundamental approach to image based rendering. Quality of LFR depends on a light ray database generated from pre-acquired images, since image synthesis is a process of gathering appropriate light ray data from the database. For improving the quality, interpolation of light ray data is effective. It is based on a...
متن کاملReal-time Image Generation for Compressive Light Field Displays
With the invention of integral imaging and parallax barriers in the beginning of the 20th century, glasses-free 3D displays have become feasible. Only today—more than a century later—glasses-free 3D displays are finally emerging in the consumer market. The technologies being employed in current-generation devices, however, are fundamentally the same as what was invented 100 years ago. With rapi...
متن کاملUsing Opaque Image Blur for Real-Time Depth-of-Field Rendering and Image-Based Motion Blur
While depth of field is an important cinematographic means, its use in real-time computer graphics is still limited by the computational costs that are necessary to achieve a sufficient image quality. Specifically, color bleeding artifacts between objects at different depths are most effectively avoided by a decomposition into sub-images and the independent blurring of each sub-image. This deco...
